At Phillip Temple CME Church, we believe that every member of our congregation deserves to feel the warmth of our community — no matter where they are. Our Sick & Shut In Ministry is dedicated to visiting, calling, and praying with those who are ill, homebound, or in care facilities.

How We Serve
Personal Visits
Ministry volunteers visit members at home, in hospitals, and in care facilities to offer prayer and fellowship.
Phone & Prayer Calls
Regular check-in calls to let our members know they are loved and remembered in our prayers.
Scripture & Devotionals
We bring scripture readings, devotionals, and communion to those who cannot attend Sunday service.
Family Support
We also minister to the families of those who are ill, offering encouragement and practical support.
